Daphne Huguette

summary

After years of building her practice, Daphne Huguette and Studio Beau came together at a point of transition. The contemporary jewellery house had built a strong reputation for fine jewellery, engagement and wedding rings rooted in personal history and material precision. The next stage required a digital home that matched the standard of the work itself, and supported the brands ambitions for broader recognition.

project info

We began with campaign and creative direction. The brief was constructed around the defining characteristics of Daphne's practice: inspiration source, material texture, cultural reference, and process. This gave photographer Tom Hvala a clear framework to work within and room to bring his authenticity to the shoot. The campaign then ran across a street poster rollout in Melbourne, with lo-fi motion prepared alongside print. Brand extension followed, with a single typographic layer introduced to bring the visual system into alignment. The website was built on that foundation. Pages were designed around the decisions Daphne's clients face when making a significant purchase: a Diamond Buying Guide covering origin, cut, and carat, a size guide, a resizing process, and a care guide extending the brand relationship beyond the point of sale.

The brand now operates consistently across campaign, digital, and physical touchpoints. The website supports the full arc of a client's decision-making process, from first discovery through to purchase and beyond. The visual system established through this project provides a foundation for Daphne Huguette's next stage of growth. We were so happy to be part of it!
